Maybe you fancy trying a new hobby but would prefer to do this in a small, non-threatening group?
Or perhaps you’re already fairly competent but would like to be part of a small social group where you can continue to learn and interact with other artsy folk?
Well why don't you give my smART groups a try?
My classes are small, friendly and informal! Keeping each group size to a maximum of six people enables me to offer tailored instruction to each person.
As far as possible I try to keep the different ability groups together but inevitably people progress at different speeds – that's fine by me. I’d rather you enjoyed what you do each week than put you under any time pressures!
I’ve found that my small groups usually gel very well together and go on to become good friends, supporting and encouraging one and other.
Occasionally, the groups come together for workshops, sketching days or simply to be sociable.
Often my students are returning to art for the first time since leaving school and thoroughly enjoy the process of making pictures again.
My classes normally run on Wednesdays & Thursdays in 12-week ‘terms’.
Mornings: 10:30am - 1pm
Afternoons: 1.30pm - 4pm
Tea/coffee or soft drinks will be available during each class.
I'll provide 'taster' use of art materials for my beginners. Thereafter, you’ll be expected to provide your own materials/equipment. I will make recommendations as to what & where to buy what you’ll need or you may purchase directly through me at cost prices.
